ashnymph have returned with their fantastic new single, ‘Mr Invisible’. The track is an impressive follow-up to their recent debut, ‘Salt Spreader’. It drifts in a darker, more experimental direction that allows the electro-indie trio to explore a more complex, psychedelic sound. The pinging of multi-directional synths guide us through those first moments, before a driving drum pattern and bassline enter to underpin the floating vocal Will Wiffen. The texture only continues to grow as the track develops, with widescreen synthwave melody lines warbling above its climactic moments. They say of the track: “It was basically funny thinking that a superpower of being invisible is actually not what you want in real life.
